Our new adventure takes us to Shoshone Falls, Idaho Experience an Unbelievable Massive Flow of Water . Since this is more than water than we have seen in many years, we didn’t want to miss it! The amounts of water rolling over the falls is massive and incredibly breath-taking.
WOW . . . it was amazing, awe inspiring and incredible. The pictures start to tell the story. Standing in front of this massive flow of water, makes telling the story much more powerful. The first thing I noticed was the biggest and most colorful rainbow I have ever seen. It seemed to span the entire area, furthermore it left me speechless. The ends of the rainbow simply disappeared into the crashing waves of endless water. It was wild watching it even though I was getting soaked.
Rain on me . . .
Approaching the falls the mist was light but the closer I got to the edge of the viewing platform, the more the water poured from the falls. The water didn’t stop at the falls, it also rained on me!!!. Just a little at first and then it was more like I was standing beneath the falls rather than above them. At first I thought I was in Seattle or Portland! Within minutes I was soaked but I couldn’t walk away, I didn’t want to miss out on seeing the most amazing thing. Oh, and did I mention…. it was cold! So here I am standing wet and cold, my fingers barely holding onto the phone so I could video this incredible vision,. I wanted to get it all yet, it was changing every second.
Around the Falls . . .
We continued to walk around the area and I wanted to stop in each of the outcroppings so I could view it from every possible area. Watching God’s creation of such incredible beauty in something so powerful. The water raged in some sections, seemed to float to the ground in others and yet together it was something so unbelievable. The vision of the falls drew me in to the point that I didn’t want to look away. I gathered a sense of wonder and respect for this creation that has left such an impact on my life.
I would recommend this “must see” to everyone especially since we do not know when we will see this again!
